Connecting to CCB Virtual Desktop

The CCB's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) offers many great benefits. Including the ability to connect from anywhere with an internet connection. Below are the instructions on getting your laptop connected to this service.

Windows Installation Instructions

Windows operating systems already have the software needed to connect to the Virtual Desktop. To get connected:

1. Download the CCB Virtual Desktop Connection and save it to your desktop.

2. Launch the Connection from your desktop. When prompted for crendentials enter them in the following format:

Username: ccb\%username%
Password: yourpassword

3. You will now be brought to your personalized Virtual Desktop.

Macintosh OSX Installation Instructions

1. Download the Mac Remote Desktop Connection Client

2. Launch the .DMG file and install the program

3. Download the CCB Virtual Desktop Connection and save it to your desktop.

4. Launch the Connection from your desktop. When prompted for crendentials enter them in the following format:

Linux Installation Instructions

There are many different Linux Clients available. The IT staff recommends using RDesktop, which is available in all major distrobutions.

To get connected to the CCB's VDI from a linux machine please contact the helpdesk and we'll be happy to get you set up.
